Well, I'm not sure if this has already been a subject but I'm surrounded by red, white, and blue right now. Jeff's mom and grandmother are very patriotic people, having family that's served I wouldn't expect much less. His grandmother lost a son to the USA. So, this weeks subject is PATRIOTISM. Your thoughts on patriotism, your feelings.....have fun

In an unlike time
In an unlike place
watching the news
tears roll down my face

Many are honored for what they gave
A flag over a casket
while being lowered into their grave

Many are still out there
Suffering day to day
sleeping in sand bunks
not much time to pray

many at home
wondering whats to come
Will tommy come home
or is he on the run

My hand over my heart
I recite these words
I PLEADGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
I know that I am heard

I am a member of the United States Air Force
I fight to keep this country free
I fight for you
I fight for me

The support we receive makes this job worth while
I see it in the faces of every man, woman, and child

You fly planes
Kill for fun
Murder your own people

Thank You so much LinZay. But I do think that Leah's was better. and my integrity will not allow me to accept this. Therefore I most humbly defer my win to Leah for I think she is the real winner.
