Hey congrats Leah! well, i wont be here saturday or sunday! so i will but it in now cause i will forget later.
MY NEW BESTFRIEND
Today i met a great new friend
who new me right away
it was funny how she understood
all I had to say
She listen to my problems
she listened to my dreams
we talked about love and life
she'd been there too it seems
I never once felt judged by her
she knew just how i felt
she seem to just accept me
and all the problems I'd been delt
She didn't interupt me
or need to have her say
she just listened very patiently
and didnt go away
I wanted her to understand
how much this ment to me
but as i went to hug her
something starteled me
I put my arms infront of me
and went to pull her near
and realized that my new bestfriend
was nothing but a mirror.

A childs first breath
An old person's last
A sunrise every morning
A sunsets sky blast
A caress from a loved one
The feelings inside
Letting yourself feel unteathered
knowing you don't have to hide
A drop of rain
A flake of snow
An ocean of water
All these things are Miracles....ya know?
Miracles are found in everything we do
In every movement you make
From the time you go to sleep
till the time you wake
Take nothing for granted
embrace everything you do
Most people don't see it
All they do is fued
So concerned about themselves
And not for our fellow man
You ever see people on the side of the road?
Ask them if they need a hand
You can be a MIRACLE
It's not hard if you try
From helping someone out
Or just letting them cry
You are all my MIRACLES
you let me feel free
No one here that judges
For this I thank thee

Hi Leah! Congratulations! Here is my contribution!
The Miracle of You
I was never somebody before you came
My life was nothing but shame
Listless and insecure I have been
Nothing to live for, never so keen.
Going round and round, never stopping
Never gathering moss, never rooting.
No direction to take, neither here nor there
I have been alone, people never care.
My life was staring right at me in the face
Yet everything was in a haze
I am living yet I was dead
All reason from this being I shed.
And now you’ve changed me
You have made me see
Picking up the pieces of my life
My being to peace from strife.
Now I find meaning in all of these
In life I have a new lease
You’ve loved me and made me whole
You’ve overhauled my soul.
You’re my cool wind on a hot summer’s day,
My heart’s beat, my sun’s ray.
Now you are my life’s love
The miracle sent by above!

Heaven's Gift
Autumn Nicole
Six years old
Eyes of blueist skies
Reminder of love
A gift from above
An angel sent from heaven
Autumn Nicole
Little hand to hold
Laughter that fills my heart
Sweet little girl
to brighten this world
Even more precious with time
Autumn Nicole
Heart of gold
A miracle of mine
Homeborn Boy, Homeborn girl

I was there
To welcome you in
The first to see
Your chinnie chin chin
Your birth cries
Caused my heart to race
And made happy tears
Roll down my face
I hugged you up
Right next to me
And you looked
Just like a fuzzy peach
I knew I'd seen
A miracle
My cup of joy
was over full
I put you to
Your mother's breast
And, yes, I knew
We were very blest
I will never
Forget the day
You bright lights
Came shining our way
Grow and grow
Way up to the sky
From the nest
Someday you're gonna fly
But, for now,
Come sit at my knee
And learn to sing
This glad song with me
Homeborn boy, Homeborn girl
Homeborn Joy in my world
Little bald heads, without any curls
Homeborn boy, Homeborn girl
