Disrespect
She moved in right behind my back
Planning and perfecting her attack
My eyes were open not wide enough
Couldn't see family love was a bluff
She knew how I felt, she knew of heart
She knew everything and still tore me apart
I've moved on from that, forgive but don't forget
The pain made me stronger for the next backstabbing I met
She felt the for revenge, he had wanted me not her
So years later she tried to tear apart something new I had together
Disrespected me in front of everyone we both knew
Disrespected my heart that for her friendship grew true
I've moved on from that, and she didn't tear us apart
Everything for him just grew strangely stronger and more dear for him in my heart
He, the one I now love, there should be no feelings of disrespect
But there are from before that he's said he regrets
There's been tears and pain
There's been sunlight only hiding behind the rain
But now it's all a diamond rose
Even through pain and disrespect this is what fate chose
I've been direspected by those I love and those I don't
Forgiveness fell upon most, still there are some where it won't
I'm sure I've given disrespect to one without intention
And done some pretty hurtful things that some would rather not mention
Disrespect is the everlasting fad, everyones disrespects another
It's a shame, since we're all suppose to be sister and brother
I have no idea where any of this poem came from, considering it's not my usual style and the last verse went in a very random direction...lol....o! and isn't the title just so original!
