Prayers and Vibes please

Postby Dreamer » Sun Sep 05, 2004 10:34 pm

Hi everyone,

My father was admitted to the hospital with swelling on his brain last night. Today they have told us it is Cancer. He had 4 spots. Three are very small and the doctors say they can be easily zapped. The 4th is the one causing problems. They said it is in a good operatable location and his chances for recoverory would be good,. Tomorrow or very soon they are going to be doing an MRI and see if the Cancer is spread through his body which of course will change things considerable,...

Please if you have any spare prayers and good vibes could you send them in our direction...

Thanks,
Becky

Hi everyone ,

Just a quick update. since I am on borrowed time here. My dad had a successful surgery. He had good signs imediately after the surgery which the doctors said was text book with no surprizes. Then dad went to sleep and basically didn't wake up for 3 days. His face looked like he was beaten with a baseball bat.

This morning we got alot of good signs. He spoke a few words, moved his hands, arms and feet. After the last few days and all his swelling internal and external these small almost insignifcant things are suddenly very significant to us.

They removed a cancerous growth the size of a tangerine in the front of his head behind his forehead above his right eye. The also did gamma surgery to remove 7 small spots that were just beginning.

So with all this trama to his brain we are feeling very lucky indeed. I will try to keep you posted...

Thanks for all your support... you are the greatest..
