You know what I think would be awesome?

Hey guys!

You know what I think would be awesome for everyone on the site? I'm not sure if it's even possible...or even affordable...but wouldn't it be cool if there was a feature on the site that let everyone record their voices reading their poems out loud?

Doing that, we could all begin to understand even better the words that all of these talented writers pour out from their souls - reading it aloud would give them the opportunity to express better the expression of their poem. They would be able to add a little more passion to their work this way. Just a thought...what do you guys think?

I'm not sure if there is a way to do this...I'm not very web-site-creating savvy...but I think it would be great!

it may take a while with the limited spare time I have just now. I am not sure how we will impliment it yet perhaps a page with real audio feeds or something the problem will be getting the recordings collected or uploaded and in the right format without it being too large. Problem is so few people understand that sort of thing to know how to do it themselves.

well... i suppose everyone has sound recorder with windows which can record 60 seconds... most poems wouldn't take longer than that. they can convert it to the mono lesser quality.... and many have computer mics... so... dunno.
