I get tons of inspiration from songs. I also get inspiration in the most random places. I think the weirdest was when I was sitting in my history class listening to my teacher lecture, and a really cool line popped in my head. Luckily, I was able to write it down and about 5 minutes later, I had the poem called Down written. It was pretty cool. The bands that inspire me the most would have to be Evanescence, Type O Negative, and sometimes Metallica. It's that dark soothing music that gets me in the mood to write.

hmmm..for weird inspiration....i was in a pool and thought up my new poem called When Pigs Fly and Hell Freezes Over. Of course i didnt have paper...but i was able to remember it somehow! im truly amazing! lmao!!!!!!

i dont think that's my weirdest inspiration bc in a way it does make sense....well, no, not really....but it's the weirdest that i could think of.....ooo!this isn't weird but it freaked me out! i wrote this poem on the way to church one day called Ready. it's about a person ready to come to god finally and she's ridding herself of all her evil clothing and putting on the robe of god.......well, that's what the damn service was about!! The Robe Of Life..the robe of God. I sat there in church amazed! i was like WOA!

I find alot of inspiration in music also. Especially lately AFI. They have inspired me to write some poetry. They have amazing lyrics, whenever i hear songs from them i am inspired to write something just as good.
