Let's Write A Poem - week 1

Like us sky scrappers are vulnerable and bare.
They look strong and brave.


Pretending to be powerful and not care.
All they want is to be appreciated and viewed with awe.


Skyscrappers are weak and tall.
The way we are as humans , we aren't strong at all.

Man this is a harder choice than I first thought it might be. I read them and re-read them and still had a hard time.. But I think I am going to go with LinzAy carrying the torch for the next round and as the winner this time.. Congrats and great work for all

Can you imagine touching the sky
Or watching down from way up high
High above in the clouds
A place to be free with your dreams

like a sleeping giant just waiting for its time,
the sky blankets it's head,
Towering over another
Searching for meaning

The eyes are made of windows
The mouth is made of a door.
When the wind blows it doesnt budge.
When the rain falls it wont take cover.

Tall it stands, proud and in full glory,
all eyes on it,
to be appreciated and viewed with awe
The way we are as humans...

Hmm... time... I think I might enter this second one... I would have entered the first one but I was too busy. If I can get a little free time (I got SQL scripting next, so I should have plenty) I can slap something together. I'm sure I'll lose, but it doesn't hurt to try I suppose.
