Well I'll be son of a fruit basket !! I can't even believe i got picked. :o

Thanks for the compliments guys! I wasn't really sure where i was going with my poem. Writing with a subject already picked is pretty difficult for me and i almost considered not submitting.

I'm going to wait for Linzay to create a poem with all of them before i choose a topic. This is going to be hard as hell. Especially choosing a poem, because i think everyone who posts on here is pretty talented. This will be more difficult then shopping for the perfect pair of shoes !!

Ha ha.. Seizure... i beat you :P
Oh yeah, you didn't enter.

I know I'm new and I also understand this is over....just had a thought and wanted to put it down on screen.

A glimmer of light
A glimmer gone dark
A first breath taken in
A last breath taken out

What happens in-between
Is between what happens
Time is all we have
And what we don't have enough of

A time to learn
A time to teach
A time to reach out
A time to be out of reach

Time is what you make of it
Time is what makes you
To have time on your side
When time is against you

Through all the time we've lived
We can't remember all the time
Just segments of the clock
until the clock unwinds

From the begining of our time
From the ending of another
The exsperiances we have
Are only ours to discover

Each persons time is unique
And we only have a precious amount
So when the reaper comes to collect
you will be rich from all the time you can account!

I also thank you for your time!........Have a great day!

And yes! Welcome visionary....beatuiful writing.........and yes...it would suck if ya lsot everytime seiz! :D

here is my little mix of everyone's poems! Hope ya guys enjoy! lol.....

Time
authored by all of the above (er, on the last page?) lol.....

Only time will tell
What the future will hold
Each grain of sand slips through the glass
Each grain of sand a second passed

We are like the time
There is no end
Finally, it all makes sense

The wind on a sunny day
The warmth of the sun on my face
Kisses after a fantastic night
The feel of your skin on mine

Friendships found and lost
Yet time goes on
Never getting to say goodbye
Time is gone

But nothing is permanent in this world
We are all on borrowed time
For a second of a dream
The secret of all life's reality

I tried my best.....hope it turned out alright! :D

And here's my little TIME poem

Times

Times

I've watched the time on my clock pass by
And I've smiled and I've cried
It's amazing how things change so drastically
And how quickly time goes by

It seems just yesterday I was learning how to ride my bike
Or partying at Greg's house
But time can't change some things
Like my yearn for a loving spouse

Time has been rough
And time has been pleasant
I'm missing the past
But loving the present

And as I watch the time on my clock pass by
I smile and I cry
A lot of things are changing - some good changes some bad
I love my present and future but miss the times I had
