The miracles of existence

Standing on cliff in the golden sun
my mind begins fantasise,
the wonderous beauty of the sea
against reality I realise,
I can stand here alone and amazed
without you I am shaken and afraid,

Knowing you are so far from me
yet you are so close to my heart,
separated by seas so vast
I believe they won't keep us apart,
watching the sun go down so slow
your warming love I will one day know,

So I will stand here throught the night
then sit and hope and wonderously believe,
that we will be together as one
I pray the night will not decieve,
into the dawn my broken spirit will always fly free
I'll be sure miracles can happen the day you hold me.

Ignite my forbidden fires!!
The only true source of inspiration, is to be an inspiration.

There is No More Inspiration!!

My Miracle

Even if he's fake
A mirage that I can only see
A character made up
Or really just a she.
Even if its worse
A bunch of lies dedicated to me
None of that matters
I have fallen in love with thee.
Whith every thing we cshare
Whith ever smile you make
In every poem I write
You are in every breath i take.
In my dreams
In my heart forever
There is only one thing missing
We are not together.
I sit in my room
All the way in Cali
You across the world
In a UK vally.
I thought I was being stupidious
A little girl mistaking want for love
But then I fell for you
All I needed was a shove.
I don't know how I found you
Or if it was you who found me
I kept my self locked up
And found you, the perfect key.
Every one says long distance dosen't work
Love dosen't work that way
But I am not every one
And I do it every day.
You are my miracle
So here is my plee
I fell in love with you
Will you fall in love with me?

Well thank you very much Leah! I appreciate you picking my poem. I would also like to say that Ben had an exceptional poem also...It would make a great country song. I must say that everyone here has been outstanding and I feel proud to be a part of this group! Everyone has great works on here! I will pick the topic for next week today....(just a little later though) Thanks again!
