This has proven to be a difficult topic. As of today, there has only been my entry and I know it is not good. I had to open up many healed wounds to find inspiration for this. Here goes:

Now I Have Nothing

I loved you with all my life
Yet you loved someone else.
You know how it pains me
Like you cut me with a knife.

We made a promise, you and I
To love each other forever.
We'll overcome all our problems
Our love will never die.

But why when I turned my back
You stabbed me with a knife.
You bedded with somebody else
My being, with infidelity, you hack.

I asked myself why you did this to me?
Is it what I cannot give
That made you change your mind
And make your affections for me flee?

I gave you everything
My whole heart, life and soul.
Now you've left me dry
Now I have nothing.

actually i've just been too lazy to think of anything as of yet! hehe...well here's mine, then!

Still You Betrayed

I can't protect you anymore,
you gave my heart a painful sore,
your intentions are now so clear
why couldn't I see that I lived in fear?

The love you gave me was to be cherished
but now that love has surely perished,
I used to feel that wonderful surprise
every time you looked into my eyes.

You masked your feelings, tied a knot
smiled a smile that forever I sought,
and then you broke it, and let it all go,
now of your true feelings, i surely know.

Now that it's over, I've nothing to give,
and my body is weakened, hating to live.
I gave you my life, my heart, my whole,
and still you betrayed me, ripped apart my soul.

So now I stand before you, to draw a truce,
to mend my heart, from my body, completely loose,
and still you cannot see the aching pain I hold,
from the false reasons that you so happily told.

:D

I would have put one up, but I was just selected, so I don't think it would be right for me to try again immediately afterward.
