Love, Pain And Sweet Nightmares

Dear mum,

You saw one of my poems the other day.
"Oh, is this how you feel?
I didn't know. You should have said."
I've told you countless times.
You look at the scars on my body,
But you don't see them.
You hear my cries during the night,
But you don't listen.
You know how I feel,
But you don't want to understand.
The clues are all there, mum,
If only you'd take notice.
Well, dear mother of mine,
Don't be surprised if in the next week,
The next month, even the neat year,
Don't be surprised to find that one morning
I won't wake.
I hope that then you will finally understand,
That you will see, that you will listen.
But it will be too late.
And you'll only have yourself to blame.
Your ignorance caused this.

Love

The shadow of what once was.

Awww, I'm speechless again >.< I'm not very coherent today. But you're right, most parents seem blind to what's going on. I just feel so sad for you.

I'm close to tears once again... don't do it Michael. Or tears of blood will come.
