Time 2
1 June, 2005
Author: Mike
A healer, you say.
Give it time, it'll pass.
It's all I ever hear.
Well, I ask you this.
Am I to sit back and watch
As time tears open my wounds?
Am I to do nothing
Except weep my life away
While I bleed from poisoned scars?
A healer, you say.
Give it time, it'll pass.
It's all I ever hear.
------- Author's Notes -------
I'm still working on this poem. I want to add another few stanzas before the last one. Just wanted to get some opinions on it first. |

Holly (82.34.160.81) -- Wednesday, June 1 2005, 11:48 pm I can relate to this one, the feeling that things don't just get better by themselves, and you can't just go on being this way. At least that's what I thought. Good so far. |
Yanny (82.31.4.101) -- Wednesday, June 8 2005, 07:30 pm Feelings cannot be read and understood from a book, most people have no clue what they're saying. When you cry and someone says its alright, it really isn't. If everything was okay why would I be crying? |
