The Truth
7 June, 2005
Author: Shorty
Not a day goes by that I don't think about you.
Honestly I don't know what i miss more;
your smile or your kiss.
I miss how you used to hold me,
I'd never been held like that before.
I loved you,
and you were my first.
You still know me better than anyone,
even though it's been a while.
I would have given anything,
just to see your smile.
Now I can't look at you the same,
you've changed so much.
The love that I once knew,
is now just a pain that kills me more everyday.
I don't know if you realized it,
but I loved you more than I've ever loved anyone.
I hope someday I can find someone that will love me more than you,
because if you really loved me you would have helped me through.
You'll always be here with me,
no matter where I go.
Scratches you can patch up,
but these scars will never heal.

Meri (172.170.125.77) -- Tuesday, June 7 2005, 08:07 pm Shorty, divine words!! One day, it may even be a get-back-together for you two, then an engagement and then.....ah ha! Wedding bells! I now pronounce you man and wife! LOL. But again, very good poem girl, very good! |
