Say I Love You
15 November, 2003
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Time has passed us by,
Both still here hand in hand,
At times I still look and wonder,
Is it me?
To say I love you,
You hear it everyday,
My lips softly speak these meaningful words,
I say them often,
With more meaning than before,
Could you not repeat them; if only the once,
I’d not turn and leave if never they are spoken,
I’d run to you heart in tow to hear them,
To hear the words with no truth I’d know,
So never can you lie,
Still together hand in hand,
Holding each others thoughts,
I remind you that another day passes,
As we wait for the sunrise I’ll tell you I love you,
Do you love me?
