Spring Morning
7 June, 2005
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Breathe deep
Of the honeysuckle sweet
Dew still moist upon the leaves
Twittering birds flit about
Feasting on their early morning harvest
Spring sun reflecting brightly
Intoxicating splendor
Flowers dotting the hillside
Green with late spring foliage
Glorious skies of blue
Ceiling of magnificent glory
Picture perfect reflections

Meridian (172.170.125.77) -- Tuesday, June 7 2005, 07:59 pm From the honeysuckle to the birds I could really picture a hot 90 degree morning, and someone sitting out on the porch drinking a cup of espresso, while watching the Spring Morning! Dreamer had done it again! Wonderful poem! |
