i dreaded this phone call
i dreaded having to go identify your body
at the county morgue
i dread having to see you lie there dead
what happened
why did this happen
this is not happening
no
youre just asleep
and this is all a bad dream
soon we will wake up and laugh
about this
but why cant i wake up
your body is so cold and blue
this cant be real
i see you lying there
lifeless and cold
im here to warm you
cant you see me here
just wake up and hold me in your arms
and tell me that everything will be ok
give me some kind of sign
just tell me that this is all just a bad dream
oh god
please help me
i dont think i can take this
i dont think i can go on without you
i love you
i need you
just wake up for me
live for me
live for us
i will live for you
i will never love anybody else
you are my one and only true love
i will always be here for you
waiting for you to come and take me away
just come and take me away
into the safety of your loving arms
hold me tight and make this right
dont ever let me go
i love you
