Crimson Lies
9 June, 2005
Author: Tammy
Finally she made it pass the crimson lies, to a time she felt content. Now she was free. She had escaped the darkness in her life. The crimson lies lay as a door mat... walked over, forgotten, and hid under layers of years, or was it about to resurface? All the ugliness she put behind her was now seeping through her dreams, haunting her in the night. For so long she had been a prisoner. Fear ran through her, the past starting to test her once again. " Oh My God " she thought this can't be, this can't happen. I made it through all the dirty little secrets. I was finally free! Tears streaked down her painted face as the past started flashing in her mind. All those years of carrying bruises, and cuts trying to keep them hid from prying eyes was about to be found out. Would they blame her for his outrageous temper? Over, and over she kept hearing his reapting words " You Made Me Do It " His twisted words had her believing it was her fault. She knew what she did was never satisfying to him. Supper cold by the time he got home, the house never cleaned to his perfection. She knew everyone would point fingers saying she was to blame. That she always did things only to tick him off. But now would she tell the true story? Was the pages of her life about to open to the people who worshiped him, and called him king? Silently she crawled back into those dirty lies, trying to put them in order... getting ready to lay them out on the table for all to see. These lies would be his way of controlling her, as he always did. Her freedom fades, as she puts on that fake smile, and spills out those crimson lies. |

Meridian (172.161.156.198) -- Thursday, June 9 2005, 09:27 pm The other Lady T, bonjour! Crimson Lies ended already? You can't be serious. I was into the words about the protagonist and how she told so many lies that she thought she'd could fool anyone. But the twister is that those lies may be revealed, and her reputation, ruined. Tell me more, the suspense is just too much to wait any further. LOL! Brill storyline Tammy! |
