Yet you’re so near not too far away,

Have I always missed you?
Were we ment to be?
I have so many questions for you,
Sit next to me, hold my hand,
Without question you invade my mind,

I feel you walking around in side my thoughts,
Do you see my path?
The one that leads to you,
No matter which path you take, I’m there at each end,
I’ll be there for you,

Let me into your heart,
I’ll treat it as my own,
Never to be harmed but always protected,
I love you, you know,
I miss you and cannot stop it,
Accept me for me, no other,

Accept my touch as honesty,
Take my love as security,
I give my strength as trust,
I give you all I am,
Take it, treat it with care,

For all I am,
Is all I have?
I’d like to add to my life,
I’d like you in my life,
Could I be wrong?

Not this time,

Clive, this poem is soooo Romantic...i remember those feelings of long ago that i shared w/my husband..if he was alive today those feelings would remain the same....for you to express those feelings in words is such a great tribute to others that are on the same wavelength..thank you for sharing...a very special part of your heart...(D.M.M.DON....congratulations on your reunion w/your girlfriend...wow 20 years..now that too is special...)
