Thinking Of Her
14 June, 2005
Author: Pierce
I think a lot
About her
And what makes
Her the one I want.
What makes her laugh
And what makes her smile.
Now, I don’t know what
to call this, when I think
of her. What makes her sad,
And what makes her mad.
I think about the times we’ve had.
And the ones yet to come
I think of what could be
If it were only her and me,
Or if it’s meant to be.
But…that’s a dream,
When you know what it is,
And what you see, when your
Eyes don’t deceive you
Or your mind, or the judgment inside.
But this is reality where you
Can still lose even though you try,
And you can trust in your heart,
Like your heart don’t lie
But it does and you’re wrong,
About everything you thought once was,
And what could be
So until it becomes better than the truth,
I will keep thinking...of her.

Pierce (24.3.47.161) -- Sunday, June 26 2005, 05:25 am Thanks Meridian. This poem like the others is about the unrequited love that I have experienced. I just hope that one day I will stop writing these kind of poems. However, I'm glad you liked it. |
