The Unrequited Dream
14 June, 2005
Author: Pierce
I dream of a girl
And she’s always the same
This one is pure
She’s not just a game
I see you time to time
But when I wake up
I know you’re not mine
My dream is a wish
A wish not yet come true
Because in my dreams
Babe I’m always with you
It’s for this one reason
That I like to sleep
Because my emotions
They grow so deep
I wish I could change this
Make it more than a scheme
To be more bliss
More bliss than a dream
It’s not up to me
To make it this way
Or I’d take this one chance
And fly away
I believe it could grow
To be something good
But I’ll never know
This is understood
