My Lover My Friend
17 October, 2003
Author: Clive B Ringshall
You know I love you and always will,
You know this by the way that we feel,
Our hands fall together,
Both made from the same mould,
Our time together travelled faster than ever,
Seems as if we’ve been together,
Much longer than before,
You’re my family,
I am yours,
We sit comfortable together as if it’s always been,
While we lay in bed,
I watch you sleep,
Hoping it’s me there in your dreams,
I feel your warm breath on my neck,
Even asleep your senses teach,
Your body moves closer to mine,
My heat keeps you warm,
Your body keeps me alive,
