A Summer Night's Dream
15 June, 2005
Author: The Unrequited Dream
The look in your eyes
When I was with you that night
Will be something I hold
In my heart forever.
The tone of your voice
Hoping I was alright
Is a sound that I
Will never forget.
But the touch of your hand
Is what moved me the most
Who would've known
Of the power you'd hold?
To know that you love me
Enough to care like that
Gives me a feeling of trust
That I never had.
And to know that you actually care
Gives me something
To hold on to
Even when you aren't there.
------- Author's Notes -------
Written during the what could've been called an "amazing summer" the guy I thought could be "it" for me. Oh how time changes things... |
