Meant To Be

To let you know how I feel,
Would you laugh?
Would you cry?
Take me by the hand,
Squeeze it tight,
Hold me close,
Hold me tight,
Let me know everything is all right.
If I let you into my love,
Would you take it to love it back?
Would you take it for as long as you need it?
Would you hold it never to let it go?
Return it each day with more of the same,
I give you my love unconditionally,
If it should ever happen we disagree,
You will know I’ll still love you,
If we should ever spend a night apart,
My love will be there right next to your heart
When we are separated at work,
You will feel my love for you with each breath you take.
My heart beats today, in an echo of yours,
Beating together, meant to be

How Romantic!............

How Romantic, Clive! You make the most beautiful love poems I've ever read so far. I am now an OFFICIAL FAN of yours, I really mean it! This poem was so beautiful and intimate, it almost felt like my love was talking to me throught somehow. Oh, it was ulimately a masterpiece, Clive. Keep writing, I'll DEFINITELY keep reading.
