Saving Grace
16 June, 2005
Author: Cookey
The last thoughts trickle down,
emotional mind walls,
ashes lie in a pile,
burnt up broken flaws,
I sweep the dust,
I clean the room,
there's nothing left,
no more you.
He plants a seed,
a brand new growth,
a gift of grace,
renewed with hope,
flowers bloom,
fresh fruit grows,
I'm back again,
I know He's close.
This love I've found,
cures my heart,
my past forgotten
a chance to start,
to live the life,
I've meant to lead,
to let God fulfil,
my destiny.
