Why Do I Love You
12 November, 2003
Author: Clive B Ringshall
You question again that don‘t know why?,
I fumble over clumsy words,
Do you not hear me say?
You have a beauty no other woman could process,
A confidence that attracts any man,
Your independence shows together we can grow,
You’re gentle touch you pass as we embrace,
You’re knowing when I’m troubled,
The way you make me feel about myself,
It is not what I am without you anymore,
But with you I am so much more,
So I tell you I Love You,
You know this it’s true
I wish you did not,
Does this knot you up inside?
Would that make it easy for you?
For me not to be true,
I cannot turn back the feelings that time grew,
If we are not ment to be,
Then we would agree,
To side by side but with pride
Slide apart.
