Wanting You
9 November, 2003
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Another day passes my body has thoughts,
Feelings of confusion envelop my heart,
You called and I was pleased,
The news you gave sank my heart deep,
I came over to support,
My feelings ran high,
I saw you hurt; not knowing what to do,
I love you seem so insignificant to say,
I cried inside, wanting to still be apart,
Selfish feelings needing more of a heart,
Friends we’ve been; friends that grew into you and me,
Prepared to walk the next step,
Take my hand, hold on tight to me,
I show you trust never to doubt,
So take it slow lets build some more,
I can wait; been rushed before,
Known you longer than ever once did,
Knowing more now still much to come,
Need you well to be here for our tomorrows?
Let me in, just a little than before,
A love together will always win

Silkened Moon (aka Enchantress) (206.216.222.181) -- Tuesday, November 11 2003, 12:27 am How Sweet! Clive, this poem seems like it describes how friendship can turn in love in different varieties. Is that what its exactly suppose to be? If so, it's very lovely. I couldn't have explained it better. Great job!~Silkened Moon |
