Wondering
21 June, 2005
Author: Kealsye N J Fahey
Late at night laying under the stars,
I sit and wonder,
Are you looking at these same stars?
Did you just see that star fly across the night sky?
Did you wish for me as I wished for you?
Constintly waiting for wishs to become reality.
Scraped and broken down,
Blood draining from my hands.
Can you feel this same pain?
Do you bleed as i bleed?
We are one in the same,
Many miles away.
Nightmares of nothingness,
Of you and I not together.
My arms ache for you to be in them.
Wishing for your hands to wipe my tears.
To feel your skin up against mine.
Your lips to brush over me so tenderly.
Passion?
Can this word even come close to you and I?
So strong a word,
but weak compared to us.
So far apart but still so close at heart.
Waiting for hours to turn to minutes,
Minutes to seconds.
Two worlds apart,
But still so near I can almost feel your
breath on my neck.
Why was fate so cruel to do this?
Maybe to test our love for another,
But no matter how far it sets us,
We will end up in each others arms,
Forever and a day.
And before we'll know it fifty years will feel like a week.
We'll take our last breath,
look in each others eyes for one last time,
and whisper our last I love yous.
