Forever Summer
22 June, 2005
Author: Pondering Red
it's almost here-
and the longest day
seeped into these rooms
this morning.
shadows of branches
dancing on the wall
-a moving picture-
the rhythm of the seasons
brings summer here
with her strong charging energies
and i savour all of her charms.
things are happening-
some not noticeable yet.
this season already
brings an excitement
and contentment over this city and me.
i am feeling a kind of peacefullness
in my self-
pushing aside and smothering
any negativity from you
and from others.
my memory conjures up images of
past summers-
a grinning kid
in the middle of the lake-
sun crystals of future possibilities
dancing all around-
i am catching them now
in the happiness and vibrancy
of the moment.
- forever summer -
the constant gathering energy
is remarkable-
approaching festivals of jazz
and colours of streaming saxophones
and buzzing people
like many fireflys
exploding with flying light.
once more the rhythm of the seasons
brings summer home.
and tonight-
an incredibly large full moon
- the moon illusion -
a special birthday present !
i am joyful !
