You Don't
27 June, 2005
Author: WilTheThrill
I don’t care if I hurt you in that way,
You asked for my opinion,
Just like you do each and every day,
If you wanted the sugar coating,
That’s what you should’ve asked for,
And afterwards you said I was nothing,
A piece of dirt on the floor,
But you asked what I thought,
And I gave it my all,
Maybe you change with the seasons,
Different spring, different fall,
You don’t care if I continue living,
You’re a cold and heartless one,
You ended all that there was,
Before it even begun,
You’re irrational,
You don’t know what’s going on,
You were supposed to brush against gently,
Instead you forced down upon,
My heart,
You don’t even realize,
You don’t ever give condolences,
You don’t give me a reason to live,
At the brink of death I come back to my senses,
What have you done to me,
How can I live this way,
You could’ve been my life,
Instead you’re my dismay,
I’m leaving you here,
No matter what you say,
I’m through with you,
But I think about you everyday.
