Still

Hurt as I do,
Cannot still stop loving,
I write hoping one day you’ll hear my words cry,
Feel then my hearts emotions before they dry,
I’ll remember secret nights,
Pleased for my touch, happy for my words of beauty,
Others mattered more in what was said,
Mine was expected so did not seem wanted,
I never lied my truth to you,
When I spoke words so dear,
They came from my heart ment,
Touches always from my soul,
Never did I not see us apart,
So as my heart tears another piece,
I’ll start to hide inside,
If you’ll one day read the love for you,
You’ll come through my door,
As I once held you from harm,
You hold all my fears and this time will keep.
