Fake As Fake Gets
30 June, 2005
Author: Mere
You always have something to say,
It's just how you say it,
You make it so condescendingly interesting,
And then you smile at me,
You know the one,
It pisses me off,
And yet, I love it.
The way you look at me,
F***ing brilliant,
Subtle innocence strikes my face,
You stand there.
As if you have seen a ghost,
But that's the God-honest truth,
I am nothing but a mere image in your mind.
You stun me,
With your kindness,
It must be fake,
Since it's never real,
And I stay and watch,
As you steal my soul,
With all good intentions.
