There was a time,
When you were mine,
Or it just seemed so,
An illusion seeking for its real,
Always.
There was a moment,
When the world looked cloud nine,
Or it just seemed so,
Now,
Days have changed for good,
After he has come to right and heal,
Everything you wronged to me,
Took me years to know and see
Things you left incomplete.
There was an instant,
When you loved me,
Or it just seemed so,
A moon-struck and her own reflection,
Always.
There was a day,
When waiting was a hobby,
Or it just seemed so,
Now,
I've changed, and I should,
My heart you could never feel,
Practical I've learnt to be,
Long, lost, love can't you see?
Things you left incomplete,
Things you never tired to complete.
