Holding You Close
20 October, 2003
Author: Clive B Ringshall
As I hold you close,
Laying next to you,
I see our future,
Moments of serious natures, ending with the beauty of your laughter,
There will be sad times that will end in tears
There will be happy times that will lead to love
Today I promise you this,
If you should ever cry I’ll be here to make you happy,
If you should feel down, I’ll be here to lift you.
Let me be the one you turn to.
I see our hearts growing stronger together,
Much better than being apart,
Two strong hearts that no one can separate,
A commitment grows with a force no man could tear apart
