Friendship
20 October, 2003
Author: Clive B Ringshall
As I read
I see pictures of people,
Happy, thoughtful and sad,
Memories flood their thoughts,
Of days gone by, with a heavy sigh,
Then follows that next emotion,
While sitting watching the ocean,
A happy thought that brings an inquiring giggle,
A smile while you dial that old friend,
To mend that long lost friendship,
Never can you have too many of these,
So while I give you a penny for those thoughts,
I’ll pass on the touch of friendship,
Mine to yours,
