Again Love Goes
7 July, 2005
Author: Shira
Oh how I wish for something more
than to be knocking at loves door
ignoring me, turning off its lights
Oh what love is a wonderful sight
Turning away slowly, Love is no more
I count the steps, one, two, three, four
I count the ways love never stays
And how I will be parted from you always
I miss you especialy when you are near
For it's in my heart you'll never remain i fear
The autumn leaves fall, time turns cold
Our hearts slip away into memories of old
But time wears on, life grows thin
It's sad that we'll be parted again
A love going somewhere but how nobody knew
How the time spent thinking of you was more than a few
How people around made life seem so great
They'd give you their hand like a piece of bait
Then take it away in your hour of need
and needing them most, what a horrible deed
That's okay thoguh, life wears on
Eventually they'll leave and you'll find your song
It'll be sad though to see everyone go
the saddest thing is this world is someone left alone
