i sit back and look around
i hold my hand against my heart
i keep tears from rollin' down my cheeks

i close my eyes and i think of you
i visualize you standin' at the front door
i look out the window
and smile like the vision was so real

i see you pressin' me against your body
my empty heart is no longer
searchin' to be feed

the rain falls upon my eyes
and i see what the Lord wants me to see
as he shows me you layin' next to me
i hold you sooo tight
and i fall back to sleep

Again....
Again another heart-wrenching poem by Terrie. In a way I feel the same way you do, I've lost someone dear to me as well. You just hope today will be like the days before. You see him come home and smile, or look at you in that loving way. You're so eager just to feel that love for an instant. I know what it's like to feel alone, but you're not. You never really are, they're with us in spirit. Remember to keep moving forward.

thank you , i'm touched that you enjoyed this one as well, not to confuse you, this one was written to the new love in my life, i believe his love is one in the same in the man that i once loved as both of love is a gift from God, the touch of his love has helped me move forward..thank you again , love all your warm comments.
