Grandpa

Author: Britney
I remember the days when I was very young
the days you would catch me if I fall. I
remember when my birthday came around
when you use to give me money and take
me to Baskin Robbins.
The years started to go by and all that kinda
stopped I really had missed those days. Things
kinda stick with you when it happens since you
were very young. Then it came my birthday
and I was talking to you on the phone.
You said "Happy Birthday Bret" and I said
thanks a ton. I was smiling while talking to
you because I don't see you very much.
But don't ever thing i forgot about you.
You will always stay in my heart and
thoughts!
Some people may think this sounds Corney
but to me this is the world! The tiniest things!
I have took them to the heart and many much
more. I said hey Grandpa can I ask you a question?
You were like sure and what is that question?
I was like I want a present... then you replied
"what may that be?".... I was like all I want
is Baskin Robbins. Just like old days use to be.
You replied happily sure I'll take you! That had
made my day!
Little things like that stays in your heart.
Little pieces of your Young's carries within
your heart. I didn't need a million dollars
clothes money or more. All I really wanted
was Baskin Robbins. The perfect gift I wouldn't
have asked for more.
So i like to say thank you. For the tiniest little
gifts could touch the heart in so many ways.
Grandpa I really love you. Your so great in
to many words to SAY!
