Welcome To My Dream
14 July, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
Walking through the forest staring up at the trees
I hear the flow of water from a nearby mountain stream
I'm hot and getting tired, so I slip down by the stream
Take off my hiking boots, dip my toes into the cool flowing dream
See a group of butterflies dancing above the stream
Feel the sun-light warm my heart, see a trout jump high
High into the air, not a sound is heard as he returns
This place is so well, you know you won't find it in the city
Sun rays put on a laser show just for me, turning the water
Into flashes of yellow, blue, red, orange, green and the show is free
Yet it cost me a lot to sit here by this stream, Hell, I left my job
Got tired of water bottles, paper cups and raises, that never came
So here I sit, feel like I'm in the hands of God, see a blue-jay
Then a Robin, oh what is that, a ruby-throated hummingbird
Staring right at me, this is a place without fear or need and most
Of all it all belongs to you and me so good to dip my toes, welcome to my dream

Martin Vann (63.25.162.62) -- Friday, July 15 2005, 04:33 pm Let's dip our toes, into the cool, mountain stream and feel the shelter of the forest as friends, we, share our dreams. See, the butterflies, flying over you, guess, they know, you are special, why else, would you share this stream and dreams with me. Welcome, to my dreams, all are invited, Barb, and so many others that you know, sit by this dream and wait to share it with you. |
