I Can Still Remember

I can still see the Rockies in the distance.
The snow resting gently on their tips.
I can still feel the shock of the cold breeze.
I can still taste your lips.
I can still hear the voice of the leader.
He speaks of God and strength and loneliness.
I can still smell the dining area.
Your arms were wrapped around me.
I remember it all because you were with me.
Do you remember too? Don't you see?
When I'm with you everything is bright.
The moments last forever in my mind.
And I guess this a pass thing to you.
I guess I'm just a fling for you.
It's easy for you not to return my calls?
It's easy for you to watch me fall?
And when they try to touch,
or when they give me love,
I jerk away thinking of you.
I know we're over,
And you can move on,
But I'm always yours.
