Autumn Walk, In Leaves Of Gold
18 July, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
I see the moon-light as I walk with you
See the star-light as bright as your eyes
When you looked at me, now the moon-light
Is all that walks with me, the sun-rise has set
The autumn leaves accompany me as I walk
In the moon-light, Suddenly I feel a warm breeze
Touch my soul, I know where the warmth comes from
As I walk in the moon-light on an Autumn night
Every leaf that flys by is another memory of you, so many
Each one is a part of my heart, I see the river flow
Beneath, this Autumn's moon-light glow and see you wink
From the stars so high yet, low enough to touch my soul
Yes our daughter is doing fine, soon she will be in second grade
And yes, she still asks about you, as if, you have spoken to her
I think you let her ask, just your way, no, I'll never forget
How I loved and still love you, since you went away
Yes, I'm doing fine, just miss you, as autumn leaves fly
Got some dust in my eyes, sorry darling, no, I do not cry
I am a heart, strong still in love with you, leaves get in my eyes
I know you understand, I love the Autumn moon, no, I'm not cold

Sweetvenom (192.168.48.139) -- Friday, July 22 2005, 12:36 pm Martin, Beautifully described. Only in the later part of the 3rd para you express partly and in the 4th para explicitly. You have brought your feelings are well in these lines. Both your love and the natural scenic took me to an imaginary world with the Autumn background. Lovely. |
