Daydreams Fade Away
19 July, 2005
Author: PoisonIvy
As I try to fill his beautiful dreams,
with the endless love he gives.
My mind dances over memories,
and daydreams of years long past.
Within my dreams I wish somehow
I could bring back the days of long ago.
Start our lives fresh and new
no past to bring us down.
But as I sit beneath the trees
where my daydreams had begun.
I listen to the whispering winds
that tell of times long gone.
Wishing I could bring them back,
and forever fill his dreams.
But how do I tell him we can't change things,
and daydreams fade away.
