My Grandad
20 July, 2005

Grandad, I miss you
some days i feel so blue
but im happy to know that you feel no more pain
without you my life feels insane!!
i love you more than words can say
so peacefully 4 years ago there you lay
the last time i ever saw your face
i never knew life was a race
i try to think of you and smile
and think of how we might be together in a little while
i try so hard to hold back the tears
and i laugh when i think of you necking back the beers
It's still so hard to believe that i'll never see you
Our time together just flew
i wished i could turn back the hands of time ,to see you once more
Maybe it would make my life worth living for
I try really hard to make you proud
life is so difficult is what i have found
I know you're in heaven smiling down
watching me as i act a clown
If only you were still here with me
But no matter what!
together forever is what we shall always be
