I'm Sorry
23 July, 2005
Author: Gemma_13
I'm sorry i hurt you i never meant to do it
all i ever wanted was a mum to care for me
but you never loved me not one bit
Why do you do the things you do?
Why do you always make me feel so blue?
Drink took you away but i want you back
i am sorry but i had to get up and pack
Leaving you is something i had to do
before your drink ruined me too
I'm sorry for all the hurt i've caused
but while i was living with you my life was paused
I've tried to help you as much as i can
Give the drink up mum before your life goes completely down the pan.
Mum i love you, you know i do
but i cant cope with all the hurt you're putting me through
i want you to be here with me throughout my life
i want you to see me become a mum and wife
and help me when times get hard
and i want you to see your grandchildren play in the back yard
So please mum do this one thing i ask before it's too late
Give up the drink i dont want us to be wrapped up in all this hate
