Angel Of Hope

Author: HeadInTheClouds
In a circle of night and day,
Is a person of high regards.
Riding on a sunlit ray,
She is the Angel of Hope.
She takes all the negative in,
And let's the happiness out.
But the battle is hard to win,
Let's tell you what the battle's about.
She lives in a smile,
The fool she embraces.
Walking for miles,
Stroking tear-streaked faces.
Soothing everyone's pain,
Drowning in sorrow.
Leaves emotional stains,
I doubt she'll see tomorrow.
But she lives on still,
Somehow she survives it.
A simple strong will,
With cleverness, charm and wit.
She is our drive,
Without her holding the rope,
We would not survive,
Without our Angel of Hope.
------- Author's Notes -------
Angels are always with us, all we have to do is believe. |
