Mermaid Bubble
24 July, 2005
Author: HeadInTheClouds
A mermaid in a bubble,
She always stares ate me.
Sadness lurks upon her face,
She longs to be free.
Her hands pressed to the glass,
Eyes filling up with tears.
I'm hoping all of it will pass,
Because I see her fears.
She holds her head in hands,
Stuck here in this glass dome.
She wants to flee this place,
Free she wants to roam.
But I cannot let her out,
For all the world to see.
Dangerous, cause she's a mermaid,
Safe, but never free.
