A Unique Pair

As I dare to stare into the midnight sky. There are simple thoughts, in my mind, asking "Why?". Why can not all people see the beauty I see. The glowing orb in the sky, or is it just me. Why I rarely ever find such radiant pupils of fancy. Is a question I will choose to only mark as "chancy". My eyes are as unique as they will ever be. So I guess finding others with such eyes SHOULD be rare to see. Among the human race, so full of smite. A pair of radiant eyes that DO see what I see, so fine. And this person is a poet, and even an old friend of mine. He wrote of such beauty in an orb that glows. Of fireflies that couldn't compete with what he'd propose. He wrote of love to share in a moon beam. And as a friend, of what there is...by what MAY seem. Yes, he had those eyes so unique. They captured the essence of beauty, they were magnifique. Because inside was a soul of my equal sight. He saw the beauty within me.. he saw the night

This poem was written for my favorite writer in this site, MARTIN VANN. He wrote a poem for me when I was about 15 entitled "Catching Moon Beams For You." I was known as CrYsTaL back then, and I still hold that poem very dear to my heart. Thank You Again Martin.
