Moonbeams And Rainbows ~ A Gift To Myself
21 November, 2003
Author: Counsellina
Distant in the darkness
Dwelled a light so grand, so bright
It`s beams, they tugged my inner soul
We danced throughout the night.
It lured me to a height unknown
Whispered words that lingered on
These moonbeams kissed upon my lips
Love.....from dusk til dawn.
Enraptured was my heart, tis true
In the darkness of the day
When suddenly appeared the sun
In it`s heat, oh how I swayed.
Alas, daylight has fallen
I see with eyes so clear
These moonbeams are a memory
That are held forever dear.
Clouds they formed around me
So heavy, dark and bold
Their liquids poured from Heaven
As those memories did unfold.
This darkness stabbed within me
It sliced through my very soul
But suddenly the sun did shine
As does a rainbow promise Gold.
Beauty lies within us
If only we delve and taste
The gifts of all our dances
For their steps are not a waste.
To see and finally understand
The moon and rainbow beams
They both hold so much "Magic"
When we look through eyes of self-esteem.
Holding onto memories
Is sweet, they touch my heart
But love in all its glory
Inside YOU, is where it starts.
