Holding On
31 July, 2005
Author: Megan
I'm trying to hold on
but I'm growing bitter
I'm in this game
but I'm known to be a quitter
my life is still broken
that's no surprise
how can you not see the damage
when you look me in the eyes
my mind isn't always stable
but my heart is pure
i could have the best intentions
and not know who or what they are for
the thing is I'm barley there
i am barley existing
i need somebody to understand
and stop the hurt from persisting
------- Author's Notes -------
The most desperate waves of hopelessness have washed upon me as a writer in the last few months, I believe I am suffering from writers block. |
