6 Miles Away

Author: Christian V
6 miles away, lays the new that i love and have found
her soft gentle touch, she holds me close,
i'm safe and i'm sound.
to miss for so long, what was in front my eyes,
took me so long for me to finnally realize,
what i wanted, needed, was seeking for,
was 6 miles away, behinde that little house door.
love so soft, so tender and true
finnally knowing what i never knew.
So long before, her close as my friend,
little did i know, a true love had began.
How can this be? my search done so fast?
with my shadowing doubt...will this really last?
will i lose again? has cupid once again struck me wrong?
is it me with her that i do belong?
how will i know, can i be given a sign?
can i have her love? will she want to be mine?
faith is what i need...i'm not to let this one go.
i'll love her strongly, so that then she'll know.
for it was her that i could see,
that 6 miles away, was a love meant to be.
