Should I Ask Him

why do i let out such a glow?
why does my heart seem so fulfilled and content?
why am i so playful and mischievious?
why do i feel like i was re-born?
should i ask him?

what has me feelin' this way?
why does my heart skip a beat?
what takes my breath away?
why are my dreams 3D?
should i ask him?

why do i feel like i'm walkin' on clouds?
why is the rainbow shinin' through my heart?
why does the moon smile and follow me where ever i go?
why do the stars twinkle in my eyes?
should i ask him?

why do i hold my hands up to the sky
when i walk in the rain ?
why do i sing when i walk down the street?
and dance with every person i meet?
should i ask him..

why does my heart flutter when he walks into a room
why do i get speechless when he calls me on the phone?
why do i melt when he holds me in his arms?
why does my temperature rise thinkin' of him
should i ask him..

why do i fall asleep under the stars at night
even when i find myself alone?
why does the ocean waves
wash over me like a soft rain fallin' upon me?
why do i feel like runnin' up and down
actin' like a teenager in love?
why does the sun hang around on a stormy day?
should i ask him?

does he know how much i love him?
should i ask him?

then the Lord said..
you do not need to
ask him

he already knows..

he heard your heart speakin' to his
when I told him...
